In addition to those listed above, I also brought with me smaller items like a diffuser, a roll of toilet paper, cleaning cloth and a lenspen.
As you can see from the picture, the bag was FULL but it still has enough room to accommodate more. So far so good, but the feel of messenger bags needs some getting used to. It took me a few hours to get accustomed to it but so far the bag felt comfortable. With all those things inside the Tenba I should have felt the strain, but it did not feel heavy at all.
I felt really happy while using the bag because getting my gear from the quick access zipper on the top was quick and most importantly, discreet. The dividers inside also did a great job. The size so far was just right. It was enough for me to carry this much and still have more room left if I need to put other items in it. The bag also started to sag and form to my body after some hours of use, and that is good!
Getting in and out of the malls was also easy since all you need to do is unzip the quick access zipper to show the security guards what is inside, no need to open the cover and let everybody else see what you have inside the bag.
The pockets are also very welcome as they store my lens caps and they also gave me quick access to my equipment when I needed them. Changing lenses can also be done using the quick access zipper.
The bag was so discrete, it looked like I was carrying some gym clothes in it. A water bottle holder with a half-drank bottle will complete the look! I was also thinking that the Tenba can store a small travel tripod on top of your equipment. You can use the canvas pouch/organizer inside the bag to stop the tripod from scratching your camera and lenses or better still, just wrap the tripod with a neoprene cover like the ones sold by Tayhua. Just cover the top and it can be concealed just like that. I like to think of this bag as the poor man's Think Tank Urban Disguise or the Retrospective bag series. An equivalent alternative that is not as good but more than enough to do the job.
