As you can see from the picture above: my boots have developed wrinkles and creases on parts where they stretch and bend. Having these wrinkles means that the boots has formed to the contours of my feet. These boots have now become comfortable enough for me to wear with just a pair of socks and I will not expect blisters on my ankles at the end of the day.
This is an update of my Doctor Marten's breaking-in process blog post that was posted by me a few weeks ago. As you can see from the picture above: my boots have developed wrinkles and creases on parts where they stretch and bend. Having these wrinkles means that the boots has formed to the contours of my feet. These boots have now become comfortable enough for me to wear with just a pair of socks and I will not expect blisters on my ankles at the end of the day. The boots now has a "character" of it's own and it has now become "unique". It took me around 12 days of wearing them everyday to work and back to get them to this state and I feel that they become more comfortable as the days went on. Rick.
